I dl it followed all the instructions wen i unplugged the usb it showed the purple locl screen but wen i put the usb back into the usb drive ..it made the unlock sound and the purple screen disapeared..but the screen was all black and the desktop was totally still locked using 95 perc cpu..wtf..now i cant even access my desktop in order to delete the software..now im perm locked out of my computer and all my work files are not accessible when i tell my boss i dont have his files bc i did this to my computer he IS going to fire me. Thanks usb raptor for your faulty software and for losing me my job ????

It went into lockdown as promised, but it was "not responding", and after I accidentally pressed "close program", everything went into full screen without a way to exit it. I tried pressing fn+f11, but that didn't work. So I shut down the computer using my power button(since the windows key or cortana or the task bar at the bottom) didn't work. Then, when I signed in again, the screen was all black, except I could access the task manager(ctrl+shift+esc or ctrl+alt+del -> Task Manager), and I ended a "critical program". That caused the computer to restart, but the restart stopped at 100%, and never fully finished, so I then force quit my computer (long press power button), and finally I was able to access the computer. I then deleted the USB Raptor application, and every other file with it. Now, if I am correct, I don't need the security key. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I unplug my USB and the screen comes up I put it back in and nothing happens.I panic and try all the keys i know like Ctrl+Alt+Del but nothing happens.I restart my computer and it loads .I calm down until my system crashes.I had to send my laptop to service and i was charged £25. DO NOT EVER INSTALL THIS APPLICATION AS IT LOCKS YOU OUT OF YOUR COMPUTER

By Jim 2022-06-12 05:44:17 USB Raptor works, but it's extremely easy to bypass it. I installed it, accidentally deleted my key on the flash drive. It took me 1 minute of trying and dadaaa bypassed...
What a joke of a software.

By Jim 2023-01-02 05:11:40 I had this program installed mid-week. It worked fine. I shut down my PC for the weekend and when I logged in on Monday, it locked me out, which I thought was expected.
I inserted the USB, nothing happened. I tried to bypass it with the password and it was not accepted. Tried to restart and close the app from the task manager but it wasn't appearing anywhere.
The solution was to go quickly and delete the USB raptor folder.
Note that it can't be re-installed as it somehow gets back to the previous status and blocks the PC again.
What a pity.
P.S.: it also registers as malicious software to SentinelOne

By Uzal 2023-12-04 10:29:31 I downloaded the app to secure my business laptop for travels, I installed as per the guide...I wanted to give a tryso i restarted my laptop. Normal windows login and then there is a brown screen asked me to insert the USB, Upon inserting says there is an error with the USB and I have to double click the screen to put the password. I insert the password which I had written on a sticknote which fails for being incorrect? Now I restarted the laptop manually, (I had noted on earlier restart that there is a timeframe of about a minute for USBRaptor lockscreen to start) so I acted fast and opened taskmanager and disabled USBRaptor from Processes and Startup.
Now the main problem was I had to completely uninstall this app as it is a stanadlone app. Revo Uninstaller does the best job BUT here is the catch, try googling "How to uninstall USBRaptor?" the first result will be RevoUnInstaller with step by step on how to unsintall USBRaptor.
I was so close on getting yelled at from my Boss today.Worst software with flaws if I can disable it anybody can do it.
